Task: Minimize digital footprint, utilize Dropbox’s unlimited storage, and conform with SEC regulations.

Today, it is difficult to imagine an industry that is not affected by automated processes. Many SaaS solutions integrate to greatly increase automation from Enterprise to SMB. Businesses are looking for ways to increase automation which in turn increase productivity, efficiency, and ultimately reduces cost. Lentner, LLC would like to share our experience integrating the Dropbox API with Clinpass, a robust clinical data analytics platform developed by Accelerant.

Task: Minimize digital footprint, utilize Dropbox’s unlimited storage, and conform with SEC regulations.

Our client is a company that manufactures advanced medical equipment, which also sets a new standard in electrophysiology by providing essential intracardiac signals with high clinical value in all types of cardiac ablations. The client wanted to design a way to extract relevant clinical data from large files into Clinpass while at the same time reducing the number of systems required to store the large data files. The customer is also publicly traded and must comply with SEC regulations and strict annual audits. They asked that we implement a solution with seamless integration by leveraging the Dropbox API so that all three requirements could be met; to minimize their digital footprint, utilize Dropbox’s unlimited storage, and conform with SEC regulations.

Our suggestion to the task:

Lentner, LLC suggested Accelerant utilize the Dropbox API to enhance Clinpass and solve for the client’s task. Accelerant did a great job using almost all the Dropbox API functions, tightly integrating with Clinpass. The integration devised by Lentner, LLC solves the client’s main issues but also provides tremendous value because when data is stored in Dropbox it can be easily and securely shared to third parties who do not have Clinpass.

Lentner and Accelerant worked with the client for approximately six weeks, building a scope of work, reviewing that the Dropbox API could lend itself to the task at hand, and of course the implementation. Accelerant had positive feedback about how well the Dropbox API was documented, and ultimately the client got the seamless implementation they desired to reach their objective.

How we helped the client’s business?

Our focus was ensuring the client’s goals were met with the highest degree of white glove professional services. We offered a tailored solution specific to the client’s needs, ultimately reducing cost, increasing security, and reducing the cloud solution required to store Clinpass data.
